BlueSocket is no longer my enemy. OS X Leopard is no longer my enemy. I can successfully log students into the wireless using their Active Directory credentials at the Login Window. Apple has fixed the 802.1x authentication system in Leopard. I can even log staff into the staff wireless broadcast securely with our root certificate and they’ll get their admin privileges!
On a second note, the eMacs and iMacs seem to be behaving now - they all get their MCX settings properly now. I had to readd the LDAP settings for xserve to them all, but they all work now.
The xserve’s ODM failed a few weeks ago, due to DNS issues. I had to rebuild the system from scratch, and things now move along quite well. About time, I’d say! Still need to fix NTP though. At least DNS is behaving.
